Physics-Based Ground Motion Simulations for the Prediction of the Seismic Vulnerability of Masonry Building Compounds in Mirandola (Italy)

The current paper aims at investigating the seismic capacity of a masonry building aggregate in historical centre Mirandola based on reliable ground motion simulation procedure. examined clustered is composed eleven structural units (SUs) mutually interconnected to each other, which are made brick walls and characterized by wooden floors poorly connected vertical structures. Non-linear static analyses performed adopting 3Muri software characterize both entire individual SUs. In this framework, multi-scenario physics-based approach considered for definition input terms broadband signals inclusive source site effects. Finally, incidence variability discussed prediction global response case study building.
